See what the weather will do in the next 24 hours and the next 7 days, and keep it on your home screen with a widget that refreshes about once an hour.

Skyglance is a simple, fast forecast app. You open it, you see the weather. No account, no sign-up, no long setup.

WHAT YOU GET

Hourly forecast for the next 24 hours
7-day forecast for planning the week
Home-screen widget that refreshes about every hour
Your location or any city: use approximate location, or search for a city by name
Clean Material design that follows your phone's light and dark theme

HOME-SCREEN WIDGET

Add the widget to your home screen and check the weather without opening the app. It updates about once an hour. Android may delay background updates when battery saver or strict battery limits are on, so the time shown on the widget tells you how fresh the data is.

LOCATION IS OPTIONAL

You can allow approximate location to see the weather where you are. If you prefer not to, skip it and search for a city instead. The app never asks for precise location.

PRIVACY

No account and no analytics
Only approximate coordinates of the place you chose are sent to the weather service (MET Norway) to get your forecast
Ads are provided by Google AdMob, which may use your advertising ID. You can reset or opt out in your Android settings (Settings > Google > Ads)

WEATHER DATA

FREE, NOTHING TO BUY

Skyglance is free. Watch one short ad and the forecast is yours for two hours. If no ad is available, you get in anyway. The home-screen widget never asks for an ad. There is nothing to buy and no subscription.
